Which Disney resort has the best dining?

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has the best dining of any Walt Disney World resort. It has three signature restaurants, Victoria & Albert’s, Cítricos and Narcoossee’s, and no other resort has more than one. If you want great food without Deluxe prices, Coronado Springs is the pick, with four sit-down restaurants, including Toledo up on the top floor of the Gran Destino Tower.

The three picks, and who each suits

Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, the outright winner

Three signature restaurants · on average $878 a night · sleeps 5
GoodThree signature restaurants under one roof: Victoria & Albert’s, Cítricos and Narcoossee’s. No other resort has more than one! Add 1900 Park Fare for a character breakfast, afternoon tea, and four bars.
Less goodIt’s the priciest resort on property. And Victoria & Albert’s books up the day the window opens and doesn’t admit kids under 10, so it’s a grown-ups’ night whether you planned one or not.

How the Resortings score works

We counted every restaurant Disney lists on each resort’s own dining page, then checked the price band and the menu for each one. Lounges count as bars, not restaurants. Pool bars count. Dinner shows count as dining. We score dining and bars separately, so a pool bar can’t inflate a restaurant count.

Counts are complete. The last column names what each resort is best known for rather than everything it has, so a resort with six restaurants shows its three most notable. Signature means Disney’s own two-credit category, the tier above table service. Nobody pays to appear here and we take no booking commissions.

How the property splits on dining

The Grand Floridian and its villas lead, with three signature restaurants. Coronado Springs is next for sit-down restaurants, with four, at just $311 a night on average. The Contemporary, Bay Lake Tower and the BoardWalk Inn each have a signature restaurant of their own, at $663, $870 and $713. At the other end, the five Value resorts have one food court each, so if you’re staying at one, plan on eating in the parks.

Cítricos is the Grand Floridian table to book. Victoria & Albert’s is the famous one, and you’ll need to plan months out. Cítricos, in the same building, is the one you can actually get into, and the band in the lobby makes the evening either way.

Coronado is the surprise. Toledo is up on the top floor with a view across the whole property, and you’re paying Moderate prices to sleep there. On food alone, we’d take it over several Deluxe resorts.

Counts are facts, quality isn’t. We count what Disney lists on each resort’s dining page and read the prices off its menus, but we don’t rate the food, because a score we made up would be worthless. When we call a restaurant signature, that’s Disney’s own label.

Your family will rank these differently

Ages, budget, room size and which parks you’re doing all change the order. Resortings scores all 32 resorts against what your family actually needs, and tells you when not to spend the money.

Common questions

Which Disney resort has the most restaurants?

The Grand Floridian, with more sit-down restaurants than any other resort, three of them signature: Victoria & Albert’s, Cítricos and Narcoossee’s. Coronado Springs is next, with four sit-down restaurants.

Which Disney resort has the best restaurant?

The Grand Floridian, if you mean the very top end. Victoria & Albert’s is a AAA Five Diamond restaurant, and the resort has two more signature restaurants on top of that.

What is the best Disney resort for food on a budget?

Coronado Springs, at about $311 a night on average. It has four sit-down restaurants, including Toledo on the top floor, and nothing else under $500 a night comes close.

Do the Value resorts have restaurants?

One food court each, plus a pool bar. All-Star Music, All-Star Movies, All-Star Sports, Pop Century and Art of Animation all work the same way. If dining matters to you, that’s the best reason to move up a price level.
