Your park day is full on your annual pass? It can open up again. When a passholder changes plans, their reservation goes back to Disney, and whoever looks next gets it. We watch your day and text and email you when it opens, so that can be you.
How park reservations work for annual passholders
Walt Disney World annual passes still use park reservations. To get in before 2 pm, you need one for that park, made ahead on Disney’s site or the My Disney Experience app. After 2 pm you can walk into any park without one, except Magic Kingdom on Saturdays and Sundays, where you need a reservation all day. Disney calls these reservations the Disney Park Pass.
Disney sets aside a limited number of reservations for each pass, for each park, every day. So on any day, for your pass, a park is one of three things:
- Open. There are reservations left. Book it now.
- Full. Your pass works that day, but its reservations are gone. This is the one worth watching.
- Blocked out. Your pass doesn’t work that day, so it won’t open. Pick a day your pass can use and we’ll watch that.
Each pass fills up on its own. A day can be full for the Pixie Dust Pass and open for the Incredi-Pass. Disney also names some Good-to-Go days, when passholders can go without a reservation at all, blockouts still counting.
How many reservations can I hold?
Disney caps how many park reservations you can hold at once, by pass. When you use one, you can book another.

Which days fill up?
Magic Kingdom first. It’s the park that needs a reservation all day on weekends, and it’s where the full days were when we started watching on October 31. Days tend to fill close to the date, which is also when plans change and reservations come back.

Over the next 90 days, Incredi-Pass reservations are open on 359 park-days, full on 1, and none are blocked out.

Over the next 90 days, Sorcerer Pass reservations are open on 291 park-days, full on 1 and blocked out on 68.

How the alert works
Pick your annual pass, the day you want and the park. If it’s full, one payment of $9.99 watches it through the end of your day. Every time it opens, we text and email you, with a button straight to Walt Disney World’s reservation page. Book it, then tap “I booked it” in the email and we’ll stop.
It’s for getting in before 2 pm, or any time at Magic Kingdom on a Saturday or Sunday. If your day is already open when you check, we’ll tell you to book it now instead of selling you an alert.
