Set an alert like these ↑Universal Cabana Bay Beach Resort rooms and availability
Cabana Bay is Universal's retro-style hotel, built for families who want to stay close without paying Premier prices. When it's sold out for your dates, rooms do come back as plans change. Tell us your dates and the rooms you'd take, and we'll text and email you when one opens.
Why families pick Cabana Bay
- A path straight to Volcano Bay. Cabana Bay has its own walking path to Universal's water park, so there's no shuttle on a pool day.
- Walk to the parks. Universal puts Cabana Bay within easy walking distance of Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and CityWalk.
- Early Park Admission. Hotel guests get into select rides up to an hour before the parks open. You still need park tickets.
Free Universal Express Unlimited isn't part of a Cabana Bay stay. That comes only with Portofino Bay, Hard Rock and Royal Pacific.
Cabana Bay rooms, and what each sleeps
These are the rooms Universal sells online here. You can watch one, several, or a whole group. Bigger families usually need a Family Suite, and those are the rooms we'd watch first. Pick "Any family suite" and we'll tell you about whichever one opens.
| Room type | Sleeps |
|---|---|
| Poolside 2 Queen Beds | 4 |
| Standard 2 Queen Beds | 4 |
| Volcano Bay View 2 Queen Beds | 4 |
| Family Suite Exterior Entry | 6 |
| Family Suite Interior Entry | 6 |
| Poolside Family Suite Exterior Entry | 6 |

| Volcano Bay View 2-Bedroom Suite | 8 |
Universal also sells accessible versions of most of these rooms. You can pick one by name when you set your alert.
How the alert works
Pick your dates and the rooms you’d take. We watch until check-in and text and email you when one opens, with the room, the dates and the price. You book it on Universal’s own site. One payment, from $19.99, with no subscription.
An alert is a head start, not a reservation: we don’t hold or book rooms. Resortings is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Universal Orlando Resort. Hotel details are Universal's own, from its booking site.

Every resort Disney owns, scored and ranked best first. The score is how well a resort fits one family, not a star rating: nobody pays to be up here, and the order changes as soon as you tell us who is coming. Until you do, this is the order for two adults with no children.
