Your Magic Key day is full? It can open up again. When a holder changes plans, their reservation goes back to Disneyland, and whoever looks next gets it. We watch your day and text and email you when it opens, so that can be you.
How Magic Key reservations work
A Magic Key gets you in only with a park reservation, made ahead on Disneyland’s site or app. Disneyland sets aside a limited number of those for each pass, for each park, every day. So on any day, for your pass, a park is one of three things:
- Open. There are reservations left. Book it now.
- Full. Your pass works that day, but its reservations are gone. This is the one worth watching.
- Blocked out. Your pass doesn’t work that day at all, so it won’t open. We won’t sell you an alert for it.
Each pass fills up on its own. A day can be full for the Imagine Key and open for the Inspire Key.
Full days do open up, and fast
On October 28 at 5:40 pm, Disneyland Park on Monday, November 23 opened for the Inspire, Believe, Enchant and Explore Keys. It was full again within minutes. At 6 pm it opened again, and filled again. If you weren’t looking right then, you’d never have known.

How the alert works
Pick your pass, the day you want and the park, or either park. If it’s full, one payment of $9.99 watches it until your day. Every time it opens, we text and email you, with a button straight to Disneyland’s reservation page. Book it, then tap “I booked it” in the email and we’ll stop.
If your day is already open when you check, we’ll tell you to book it now instead of selling you an alert.
