The short answer
Caribbean Beach is a transport ticket with rooms attached, and if those are your parks, it's one of the best values on property. It's the Skyliner hub, so it scores 9 out of 10 for both EPCOT and Hollywood Studios with no change. That's the top Hollywood Studios score of any resort, Deluxes included, and only the Beach Club beats it for EPCOT. At about $338 a night, that's Moderate pricing for better park access than most $700 rooms. The trade-off is everything else: it ranks 31st of 32 for things to do, has one sit-down restaurant and one bar, and it's one of the biggest, most spread-out resorts Disney runs.
Two top Moderates about $30 apart. Caribbean Beach wins on the Skyliner and splash pads, Coronado Springs on things to do, dining and adults.

Your ages, budget and parks re-rank all 32. Free, about a minute.Which room to ask for
Rooms open to the outside rather than onto an internal corridor. This is a spread-out resort. Rooms are in separate sections away from the main dining and the main pool, far enough that an internal bus exists, so which section you land in changes the stay more than the room does. A request costs nothing and is never guaranteed, so make it at booking and again a day or two before you arrive.
The preferred-location upcharge is about $100 a night. A free request for Jamaica or Aruba gets you most of the same benefit, so try that first.
Every measure, against the other 30
Disney does not set a height minimum on its resort waterslides, unlike the water parks. Riders go down one at a time and land in water deep enough to swim in, so the question is whether your child swims on their own, not how tall they are.
| Scored category | This resort | Average of all 32 | Rank |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pools | 8 / 10 | 7.1 | 7th of 32 |
| Splash pads and slides | 8 / 10 | 7.6 | 14th of 32 |
| Everything close together | 2 / 10 | 6.0 | 29th of 32 |
| Things to do on site | 4 / 10 | 7.2 | 31st of 32 |
| Suits under 4s | 9 / 10 | 7.8 | 1st of 32 |
| Suits ages 4 to 6 | 8 / 10 | 7.8 | 14th of 32 |
| Suits ages 7 to 13 | 5 / 10 | 6.2 | 26th of 32 |
| Suits adults | 4 / 10 | 5.5 | 25th of 32 |
| Getting to Magic Kingdom · bus | 4 / 10 | 5.5 | – |
| Getting to EPCOT · skyliner | 9 / 10 | 5.5 | – |
| Getting to Hollywood Studios · skyliner | 9 / 10 | 4.5 | – |
| Getting to Animal Kingdom · bus | 4 / 10 | 4.0 | – |
Rank is out of all 32 Disney resorts on that one measure. The park rows show the fastest route Disney actually runs, so a bus and a monorail are not scored the same even when the map says they are the same distance.
Where it wins
Where it loses
What it costs
About $338 a night on average, one of the priciest Moderates we score, and about $30 more than Coronado Springs. What the extra buys is the Skyliner, which is only worth it if EPCOT and Hollywood Studios are the trip.
Across 53 check-in weeks, a night here ranged from $298 to $465, a swing of 56%. The cheapest week checked in on January 4, 2027 and the priciest on December 28, 2026.
Room only, before tax, for a four night midweek stay for two adults, read from Disney on September 27, 2026.
What the Skyliner hub is really like
Every other Skyliner resort changes here, which means getting off and joining a second line. From Caribbean Beach you get on once and get off at the park, and that one fact is why it outscores resorts costing twice as much.
The Skyliner starts an hour before early entry and keeps running until 90 minutes after EPCOT or Hollywood Studios closes, so it covers the early mornings and the trip back after the fireworks.
It stops for lightning, and central Florida gets storms most summer afternoons. Disney runs replacement buses, so everyone who was in the Skyliner line is suddenly in the bus line.
The resort is big enough that the internal bus is a real part of staying here. If the Skyliner is why you booked, ask at check-in for a room near the station, not near the main pool.
Ask for Jamaica or Aruba. Both are close to a Skyliner station, and guests name them again and again when the Skyliner is the reason for booking. From Aruba you can also walk to the Riviera and use its station and its counter-service spot.
Set your expectations on the rooms. They're clean and recently refreshed but lightly themed compared with the rest of the resort, the corridors are outdoors, and guests often say the preferred-location upcharge of about $100 a night isn't worth it when a free room request gets you most of the way there.
Your family will rank this differently
Ages, budget, room size and which parks you are doing all change the answer. Resortings scores all 32 resorts against what your family actually needs, and tells you when not to spend the money.

Common questions
Who is Caribbean Beach best for?
If EPCOT and Hollywood Studios are most of your trip, yes, clearly. It scores 9 out of 10 for both, the top Hollywood Studios score on property, at about $338 a night. If you want anything from the resort itself, no: it ranks 31st of 32 for things to do and has one sit-down restaurant.
Why does Caribbean Beach score higher than the Deluxes for Hollywood Studios?
Because it's the Skyliner hub. The Riviera, Pop Century and Art of Animation are on the same system but change here, and a change costs time. The EPCOT-area Deluxes reach Hollywood Studios by boat, which scores 6. Caribbean Beach gets on once.
Caribbean Beach or Coronado Springs?
Caribbean Beach for transport, Coronado Springs for everything else. Caribbean Beach scores 9 and 9 for EPCOT and Hollywood Studios against 4 and 5. Coronado Springs scores 9 for things to do against Caribbean Beach's 4, has four sit-down restaurants against one, and costs about $30 less.
Is Caribbean Beach good for toddlers?
Yes! It's great for under-fours, thanks to the pool, the beaches and the short Skyliner ride that gets a tired two-year-old back to the room fast.
How far is Caribbean Beach from Magic Kingdom?
Not close. It scores 4 out of 10, a bus ride of about 20 minutes, and the Skyliner doesn't go there. If Magic Kingdom is the center of your trip, this is the wrong end of the property.
